Cinematic Music Video Production: Shooting 'Superglue'
How We Delivered a High-End, Narrative-Driven Visual Experience

The Challenge
When director Coro was looking to bring her upcoming music video, Superglue, to life, a mutual friend recommended Front Row Video. Because the video featured a clear narrative arc, Coro needed a team with strong storytelling experience. We stepped in to provide the project's cinematography expertise and lighting equipment, working closely with Coro to translate her vision of a bright, energetic, and colorful style into dynamic visuals that perfectly matched the song.
The Process
During pre-production for the Superglue music video, Leon from Front Row Video collaborated closely with Coro to develop the project's visual style and lighting design. He carefully planned the equipment, crew, and locations to maximize production value on a modest budget.
While Leon owns a professional camera package, he opted for a specialized high-end cinema camera rental to achieve the director's vision. After extensive lens testing, he selected Cooke S4 prime lenses paired with the ARRI Alexa Mini. This industry-standard camera combination is renowned in high-end film and TV production for delivering a warm, rich, and organic cinematic aesthetic.
The music video shoot spanned two full production days. Day one focused on interior lighting setups and exterior establishing shots around an apartment block. Day two scaled up the action, bringing in a Steadicam operator to capture dynamic movement with actors and dancers across tunnel and rooftop locations. To finalize the high-end video production, the project was edited by Gabrielle Torreborre and colour graded by post-production powerhouse Company 3, resulting in a polished, broadcast-ready final product.
